Notice that in receiving and believing we become born of God.
Once born of God, we can never be un-born!
29 John the Baptist seeth Jesus coming unto him,
and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
49 Nathanael answered
and saith unto him (Jesus), Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.
John chapter
3:
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot
see the kingdom of God.
16 (Jesus said)For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten
Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
NOTE:
IT IS "EVERLASTING" LIFE FROM THE MOMENT YOU GET IT. YOU CAN NOT LOSE IT!
17
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in
the name of the only begotten Son of God.
36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting
life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
Chapter
4:
25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he
will tell us all things.
26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.
Chapter
5:
24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting
life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
25 Verily,
verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that
hear shall live.
We must hear him.
Chapter 6:
35 And
Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never
thirst.
We must come to him and believe.
40 And this is the
will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will
raise him up at the last day.
47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me
hath everlasting life.
The terms verily, verily mean we may believe Jesus words with absolute
certainty.
68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words
of eternal life.
69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the
living God.
Chapter 7:
31 And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ
cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this man hath done?
37 In the last day,
that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
38
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
39
(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because
that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
40 Many of the people therefore, when they heard this
saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet.
41 Others said, This is the Christ.
