HALLOWEEN TRUTHS - WE'RE SUPERNATUAL SOULS! OBSCENE - Social Worker Supervising Christian Chaplain!

On the one hand we don't want to celebrate evil -

On the other hand we want to tell the soul saving message of Jesus Christ as widely as possible.

While some decry Halloween's evil nature, it makes for several excellent witnessing opportunities.

We should use the occasion to INSIST that we are SUPERNATURAL SOULS inside bodies of atoms and chemistry.

It is our supernatural souls that MAKE US CONSCIOUS -- NOT our CHEMISTRY!

Dr. Henry Morris' older book, The Long War Against God makes clear that the very reason the Social Sciences exist is to stamp out Christianity.

Their prime directive and founding charter is to suppress, stamp out, annihilate, all talk, knowledge and awareness of souls and spirits.

Social Sciences work hard to DENY we are souls, and to explain everything as atoms and chemistry.

If anyone should dare to speak seriously of souls and spirits they will, at least to themselves, wink and deem that person a superstitious fool.

How just, plain, obscene, as I have in my recent viewing experience, observed a Hospital's Christian Chaplain placed under the supervision of their large social services department.

Our souls will depart our bodies at death - the soul's departure is the cause of death.

Critical question IS -- will our souls go to some very nice place or a hellish place?

The Chaplain is supposed to advise and guide the patient to soul saving salvation.

But social services aim to deny, blot out, and suppress the knowledge of our spiritual selves.

Thus, this Chaplain is assigned to a department ideologically directly against God's purpose of trying to save lost souls.

Having worked in a hospital I remember the panic in nurses voices as they desperately call for the Chaplain.

Their patient suddenly realises he or she will be leaving the hospital feet first, under a blanket, on a cart pushed by the mortician, not on his own two feet.

They have side-stepped God all their lives, now they are panicked and desperate.

The Chaplain needs to do his best to save the person's soul, and must not be hampered by some soul-denying supervisor or supernatural hating department.

Halloween makes for an excellent witnessing opportunity.

We should give Christian booklets or Bibles along with nice goodies to the "trick or treaters."

Satan does NOT own Halloween -- we should not be spooked by him.

Jesus Christ wants us to tell his soul-saving message as widely as we can.

Halloween is a great opportunity.

Modern Bible are repacing right supernatural terms

Wrongly - many modern Bibles have replace "gave up the ghost" with naturalistic "breathed his last."

1 Thessalonians 5:23 makes it clear we humans are Body, Soul and Spirit:

And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We often say that a thought or idea "POPPED into my head."

What REALLY happens is that our human SPIRIT gives thoughts, ideas, etcetera, to our soul.

Our spirit has, scanned, as it were, our beings, and attends to our needs.

This interaction between spirit and soul is a tremendous proof of our special creation by Almighty God.

We all have eternity in our hearts -

Deep inside everyone knows we have supernatural souls and at death they will go to heaven or hell

It is an awful thing that modern bibles are using the rendering "breathed his last"where the King James Bible (KJB) uses "gave up the ghost."

This KJB rendering is well known and understood by most modern folks.

It is terribly tragic that modern bibles are doing this.

God wants us to know that at the moment of death our soul is departing and heading to heaven or hell.

It is this critical consideration that should cause, in everyone, a lifetime of pursuing salvation of one's soul.

Thus, the great WRONG in BLINDSIDING folks to this with the worthless naturalistic rendering "he breathed his last."

Here are several examples, KJB first, then a modern bible:

Mark 15:37 KJB: And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost.

Modern Bible: And Jesus uttered a loud cry and breathed his last.

Mark 15:39 KJB: And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God.

Modern Bible: And when the centurion, who stood facing him, saw that in this way he breathed his last, he said, "Truly this man was the Son of God!"

Luke 23:46 KJB: And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

Modern Bible: Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!" And having said this he breathed his last.

Acts 5:5 KJB And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

Modern Bible: When Ananias heard these words, he fell down and breathed his last. And great fear came upon all who heard of it.

Acts 12:23 KJB: And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.

Modern Bible: Immediately an angel of the Lord struck him down, because he did not give God the glory, and he was eaten by worms and breathed his last.

Modern Bibles may say “I, or me” instead of “my soul.”

“Soul” should remind us of our eternity.”

Reminds me of the book - Eternity in Their Hearts showing that tribes of people worldwide, know deep down inside about eternity.

Notice in the Genesis 2 (shown below) and Lamentations 1 passages the KJB uses soul; the ESV (English Standard Version) does not, thus rendering it naturalistically, rather than supernaturally.

⁷And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. KJB

⁷then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature. ESV

We are supernatural!

According to a word search of the whole bible on BibleGateway.com, the KJV uses the word "soul" 498 times, the ESV about half as often at 269 times.
