One thing we should realize is that Medicine (Wikipedia, History) precedes Islam (Islam 570-632), by quite some time
span, so we do not need to accept the idea that precise medical terms in the Koran did not precede the Koran and thus prove
it to be God’s book.
Secondly, we should recall that the Book of Mormon, for example, had obvious errors in its initial
printing, which had to be "fixed" in subsequent printings, in spite of Mormon's insistence it came from a divine
origin.
Likewise
it is completely possible that the Koran was "corrected" so as to make it appear that it contained modern day medical
terms although written 1400 years ago, and thus it must be "The Word of God."
The Wikipedia article, Quran, says in this regard:
"Muslims consider the Quran to be the only book that has been protected by God from distortion
or corruption. However, some significant textual variations (employing different wordings)
and deficiencies in the Arabic script mean the relationship between the text of today's Quran and an original text is unclear."
Christians
should be aware of this deceptive Islamic argument. It is an especially persuasive argument for them to use it,
embedded as it is, in this set of very well done creation videos.
We need to be prepared to defend the Bible with a wide array of sound
arguments.
There is, of course, also,
the GLARING QUESTION of how we sinful humans can possibly become acceptable to the absolutely perfect, mighty, Creator
God. Islam, of course ignores this big problem.
The answer is, of course, that Jesus Christ, the Savior, and Redeemer, in God's love, gave himself as a ransom for us, providing in his perfect
person, and life, and in his innocent death the necessary substitutionary atonement to allow us sinful human beings to
be reconciled to, and acceptible with God.
