Genesis 1 certainly makes clear God made the Sun, Moon, and stars for signs.

14 And God said, Let there be lights
in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons,
and for days, and years:
15
And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to
rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to
divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
We need to consider the whole Bible, and compare it with world events,
and consider the heavenly events, to try to determine the meaning of signs.
It is apparent that two of the three feasts of Israel, shown in the passage below, are in view
in these blood moon dates.
It sure seems like this four blood
moon series, or tetrad, is aimed at Israel, as though God is giving notice that he will soon bring Israel back into the
ball game.
This means that Jesus Christ must remove his Bride,
the Church, in the Rapture, before God will again use Israel.
Exodus 23:
14 Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year.
15 Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat
unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from
Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)
16 And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and
the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.
